Competitor comparison for AI search
Knowing your own GEO score is useful. Knowing it next to the sites you compete with is what tells you whether you are ahead or behind when ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude pick who to cite. LLMao detects competitors from your page, scores them with the same methodology, and puts the results in one table.
A ranking you can act on
Your site and every detected competitor, sorted by GEO score, with the exact gap to the leader of the set.
Category by category
All 8 methodology categories side by side, so you can see whether you lose ground on schema, citations, structure or freshness.
Same test, same weights
Every site in the table is measured with the same public methodology, so the comparison is apples to apples — not a black-box estimate.
What it looks like
The view below uses example sites and example numbers to illustrate the layout. In your report it is filled with your own score and the competitors detected on your site.
Competitor comparison

Red values mark categories where a competitor scores higher than you. Competitor scores come from their most recent completed LLMao report, so they may have been measured on a different date.
How competitors are chosen
- During the analysis we identify the businesses your page positions itself against — real category competitors, not any domain that happens to be linked.
- If a competitor already has an LLMao report, we reuse its most recent completed score. Otherwise a report is created so it can be scored and compared.
- You can always add a competitor manually from the bottom of any report if we missed one.
What we do not claim
LLMao measures how ready a site is to be read, understood and cited by AI systems. It does not estimate how often a brand is mentioned inside AI answers or invent a share-of-voice percentage — those numbers cannot be measured reliably from the outside, so we do not report them. Every figure in the comparison is a GEO score produced by our published, testable methodology.
