LLM Optimization
LLM optimization is about how language models ingest your pages: what they can fetch, how they chunk it, and what they can safely repeat.
How a model sees your page
Retrieval systems split pages into passages. Each passage is judged largely on its own: if a paragraph makes sense without the three above it, it can be retrieved and quoted. If your key fact only makes sense after scrolling through context, it rarely survives the split.
Write for the passage, not just the page
- Answer the question in the first sentence under each heading.
- Repeat the subject rather than relying on pronouns across sections.
- State numbers, prices and dates explicitly rather than implying them.
- Define your terms where you use them.
- Avoid burying facts inside images or scripts.
